Unlimited Wealth Night - Charity auction raises a staggering £11,900

2011 has been a brilliant year for both Knowledge to Action and The Knowledge to Action Foundation, and what better way to celebrate it in style than with the Unlimited Wealth Night that took place in November.

Unlimited Wealth Night

The night was a resounding success, and thanks to a generous audience and our own star auctioneer (Head Trader Mark Sapsford), the evening's charity auction raised a staggering £11,900 for the Knowledge to Action Foundation.

This fantastic sum will go towards next year's Youth Leadership Summit, an annual programme which was first launched this October. The 5 day residential course took place in Grosvenor Hall, Kent, and saw 72 14 - 17 year olds from across the country come together to learn key development skills which will help them to achieve future business success.

The first Summit was an extraordinary experience, with everyone involved - adults and children alike - coming away feeling truly enriched. There has been great feedback from the course and 2012 is already set to be a success, with The Foundation's goal being to sponsor 200 children to attend the programme.

2011 has been a busy year for the Foundation, with the first instalment of the Flying Trader events also taking place. Greg took to the skies in a series of four helicopter flights, trading above the City and sending his live trades and tips down to an audience of over 500 Knowledge to Action traders. The days were organised to raise money for two children's charities; The Ubuntu Education Fund and Barnardo's. So far a phenomenal total of £161,381.44 has been generated, and six more ‘Flying Traders' in 2012 should ensure that this total well surpasses the target of 250,000.

Barnardo's and The Ubuntu Education Fund are two causes close to Greg and Katherine's hearts, and they are currently in South Africa visiting Ubuntu and experiencing first hand the impact that the donations have on the community.

Whilst there, Greg and Katherine have been personally invited by Sir Richard Branson to visit his UNITE charity in Johannesburg - another organisation that the Foundation has donated to. Not only will Greg and Katherine get the opportunity to see how local entrepreneurs have benefitted from the cause, but they will also be joining Branson on safari!

Knowledge to Action also has a very exciting year ahead. 2012 sees the launch of the Automated Trading Mastery (ATM) programme, alongside the FX Capital Managed Account. This latter initiative will allow you to have your investments managed by highly experienced traders, letting you sit back and relax while they do all the hard work for you!

Everyone here at Knowledge to Action and the Knowledge to Action Foundation are extremely excited about what the New Year will bring, but until then we wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
