Yesterday (September 27th), activity in Asia was dampened, yet there were still gains made, with the Nikkei 225 rising 0.1 per cent.
Traders on the US stock market also saw the indexes close higher, with the S&P 500 rising 1.1 per cent, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished at 1.3 per cent.
However, many experts were still concerned about the future of the eurozone in light of the debt crisis.
Khoon Goh, senior economist at ANZ Bank in Wellington, commented: "Fundamentally, nothing has changed and we are really none the wiser over what the next act will be in this long-running Greek tragedy."
The European Commission, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund meet in Athens later today to review debt levels in Greece.
